I love being a counselor and feel honored to be able to help people through difficult times. It's hard when everyone around you seems so happy and you are feeling anxious or depressed. My office is large, comfortable and located in a convenient area. I work a flexible schedule and have evening and weekend appointments available. My basic practice model is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, increasing our understanding of how our thoughts influence our emotions & behaviors. I embrace creative approaches, and honor the uniqueness of individuals.
I work with individuals, families and couples. I have experience in working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, adoption and personal crises. I am developing an expertise in anxiety disorders, couple's counseling, relationships and adoption issues.
Additionally I firmly believe in our responsibility to one another as human beings and my practice sponsors a child in the Democratic Republic of Congo through the World Vision Organization.
